Arthur Ittermann was baptized at the Rosenfeld Baptist Church and leftfrom there to study for the ministry at the North American BaptistSeminary in Rochester, New York. After receiving his Batchlor of Theology Degree he pastored Midwestern Baptist
Churches in the North AmericanBaptist Conference. He received his Doctor of Theology Degree afterstudying in the Central Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas and wasthen called to service on the Business Staff. In 1957 he served as a professor at
the Tennessee Temple Baptist University in Chattanooga,during which time he also had many speaking engagements in surroundingChurches. He retired from Temple in 1980.
