Gottlieb Itterman was baptised into the Congregation of the Evangelical
Gottlieb Itterman was baptised into the Congregation of the EvangelicalLutheran Church shortly after birth. Gottlieb was baptized as an adultand accepted into the Neudorf Baptist congregation on June 1, 1891. He married Anna Pohl on November 2, 1905 in
Neudorf. He arrived in NewYork in 1906. Gottlieb was also a wagenmacher and when he came toAmerica he went to Winnipeg, Manitoba and became a carpenter. He becameactive in Missions of the North American Baptist General Conference, travelling from church
to church, he preached the Gospel. The ExecuticeSecretary of the Conference, Rev. William Kuhn recommended that he beordained as a Minister of the Gospel.
He died at the age of 87 years.

Churches in the North AmericanBaptist Conference. He received his Doctor of Theology Degree afterstudying in the Central Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas and wasthen called to service on the Business Staff. In 1957 he served as a professor at
the Tennessee Temple Baptist University in Chattanooga,during which time he also had many speaking engagements in surroundingChurches. He retired from Temple in 1980.
