Robert Henry "Bob" Richardson, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 1996 Robert Henry "Bob" Richardson, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 1996in Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg after a lenghty illness. He is survived byhis loving wife Pauline, Winnipeg, five children, Robbie (Rebecca), Calgary. Carol(Jack) Hyman, Winnipeg. Donald (Kim) Winnipeg. Ken,Winnipeg and Barb (Rick) Snyder, Edmonton; Ten grandchildren, David, Nicholas, Erin,Matthew, Jake, Seth, Jennifer, Jesse, Riley and Suzanne; two sisters, Hattie Jones Winnipeg andBeatrice Dewbury, Dauphin. Bob is predeceased by his parents, John Henryand Marion Richardson, who were homesteading pioneers at Fork River in the Dauphin area; four brothers, Bert, John, Jim and Frank; grandaughterNicole. Bod was born and raised in Fork River. He served overseas with the X11Manitoba Dragoons in England and Northwest Europe in the Second WorldWar. Following discharge he married Pauline Adamek in Winnipeg, where he was employed with Air Canada and for 28 years to retirement with SeawayMidwest Livingston, a Winnipeg shipping firm. A kind, gentle, soft spoken and thoughtful person, Dad will always beremembered as a loving family man who at all times put family first. Heloved his garden and fishing. Cremeation has taken place, A memorial service will be held at 1:30p.m., October 4, 1996 at the Deer Lodge Centre Chapel, with Rev. Barbara Barnett officiating.
