i Louise Zum Brunnen * 13 Okt 1895,1 † 22 Jul 1994.5 She worked in a dressshop in DeSmet for a time, and then went to DesMoines, Iowa,to Drake University, to study music. From there she went to Chicago, and, since there wasn't much future in music, at that time, she was a house keeper in several different nice homes. Later she took up music again, is still (in 1981) teaching and living in a lovely lakeside apartment in Chicago. Louise never married.
