WORLDCONNECT TIP:
Searchable Database or WorldConnect?
You have a genealogical collection you might like to submit for
RootsWeb programmers to transform into a searchable database. Consider
whether your file might be better suited for WorldConnect.

Files that are more suitable for WorldConnect include one-name studies
or any compiled records (for example, of immigrants who settled in a
given community, cemetery records, church records) in a database that
is stored in a genealogy program and so can be converted easily to a
GEDCOM and submitted to WorldConnect.
WorldConnect has specialized features designed to make your file
customizable and universally searchable. Flexibility in the display of
your data, the capability of allowing others to download portions of
your GEDCOM, as well as allowing you to download the entire file, are
features that often make WorldConnect the better choice.
