WORLDCONNECT TIP:
Changing Your User Code
Q. Is it possible to change my user code for WorldConnect?
A. Because the WorldConnect user code is a part of the URL
(address) of your WorldConnect account, the only way to change
it is to upload a new GEDCOM using a new user code and
password. You may use the old password or select a new one.
Once this is accomplished, you will want to remove the
original (duplicate) account by going to the set-up page at
http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igmuser.cgi,
entering the user code and password of the original account,
and clicking on the Standard button. Scroll to the bottom of
the Standard set-up page and click on the "remove account"
button to delete the duplicate (original) account.
