WORLDCONNECT TIP:
Contacting Cousins

Researchers sometimes are unable to reach a person who has submitted a file to WorldConnect because the e-mail address is no longer valid or the submitter does not reply. A submitter might not respond as a result of illness, death, family problems, work schedule, vacation, lost messages, computer virus problems, corrupted e-mail, a discontinued ISP, or a computer crash. A submitter might have tried to respond, but failed to reach you because of your bad "reply to" address, your full mailbox, or some other e-mail delivery problem.

If you have tried to contact a submitter but received no reply, or have received a notice advising that your message could not be delivered, try again in a couple of weeks to see whether the problem was temporary or resulted from an unintentional loss of your original message. If you have not received a reply after several attempts, check the file from time to time to see if the e-mail contact address has been updated. Eventually, most people update their WorldConnect contact addresses. Have you?
