Catharina Meyer was born circa 1650 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen; I put the birth date as 1650 as she is not listed under the first set of baptisms in 1651 at the beginning of the churchbooks.1 She was the daughter of Joan Meyer zu Osteressen and Catharina (?).1 Catharina Meyer witnessed in the census she is called Trinke and is said to be 9 years old in 1662 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen. She was also known as Trinke. Catharina Meyer witnessed In the Personenschatzungregister only one child is mentioned with the age of 12. This must have been Catharina as she was said to be 9 in the 1662 Register. In 1665 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen.2 She died before 1672 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen; There is no record of her death yet she no longer shows up on the Schatzungsregister of 1672.3 Catharina Meyer witnessed Trinke seems to have disappeared and may have died before this year. In her place a new child with the name of Werneke appears in the Personenschatzungsregister. In 1672 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen.2

Obviously there is something wrong in the calculations. In 1672 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen.2 She died on 30 October 1694 at Osteressen, Kirchspiel Essen, at age 40; Churchbook says age 40 at death.1
